I can assure you I didn't get second as there was no plaque for hitting the wall. If I would have gotten a plaque, I'd be having a hard time "passing it" after my wife found a place for it.

Don't worry, nothing taken personally. I have to joke about it to keep from crying too much. I can't wait to see your JBL there next year. Sounds like it will be quite a car.
As far as results go, I'm sure Clois is busy getting them all straightend out for posting.

Mat,
I'm glad you're in good spirits. I wish I was closer and could give you a hand. I think our wives have been talking.....
Only 11 1/2 months to go.....

Hey guys, first regarding the results I just spoke with Greg our web site guy and he tells me the results should be up this afternoon or first thing in the morning. Sorry it is taking so long but when RNG was over I had a lot of catching up to do at work and Dean and I went over these things umpteen times to try and make sure we had everything right. There will be a summary page posted on the home page and individual times by event posted on a side link.
Now, for Mat and Richard you guys are great and I am so sorry you kissed the walls but I am so glad that you guys are OK. Let me know if there is anything we can do to help out. By the way Gateway is giving us some grief on how fast everyone was running at the drags. May have to make some changes next year!
Clois

The saftey side of this is the real thing we had cars in the 10's with a min of cage. After Richards contact it makes you wonder what it would be like on the big end if something catastrofic happens with just a hoop behind you.Richards car being a fully caged car is much much safer than the average roadster, and very well built professional cage system.Saftey First so we can come back and do it again...WB3

I said in the drivers meeting that if a "participant" out runs a manufacturer then the manufacturer would not qualify for a manufacturer trophy. John Meyer was the fastest sb pro so no manufacturers were eligible. They had to truly come in first to win.
The idea was that we didn't want the manufacturers to take trophies away for normal guys. so we decided to award two first place trophies if a manufacturer won.
