Yes, there will be "The Run N Gun Experience" which is basically a lead follow. Those participating in the RNG Experience will be lead by one of our professional drivers. We usually have more than one Pro Driver because those 5 or 6 cars back miss seeing the correct driving lines around the course. The cost for the Run N Gun Experience is $100.00 and those sessions occur during the lunch hour on Thur and Friday and on Thursday after the regular session is over.

Regarding the Barrel Race Event:

Consider a 100 yard dash from a dead stop similar to the autocross to a orange pilon (barrel) and a turn, drift or slide etc. around such pilon then a dash back to your starting line where you must not only break the timing beam with a complete stop but do that so you are inside a marked 20' X 30' box that extends just beyond the stop light. Seconds are added for not having all four tires within the box or knocking down any of the boundry pilons. Practice will begin on Wednesday for the Barrel Race and then the timed event will occur on Thursday.

Sure...but watch out for that Big Gulp! I have found that if you have a drink of any size between your legs and you for whatever reason have to jump on the binders you tend to squeeze everything out of the drink and it only has one place to go. Believe me there is not a lot worse than having 32 ozs. of sticky syrup base coke, pepsi, etc settle in between your legs while you are at a track. Kinda kills the cool factor of the whole race suit thing!

Clois, what about a slalom for a Saturday event? In and out of a series of cones. Could be timed from start to finish easily I would think, probably re-use the timing for autocross.

Gateway absolutely will not allow us on the track on Saturday . They have stated that they must "Clear" X number of $,$$$.$$ each day and "X" $$.$$$.$$ for the event and we couldn't guarantee them that income. No one regrets the loss of Saturday more than Dean and I. We are talking about Thousands of dollars guarantee!
