I like those earlier emblems. I thought they were chrome but not sure.

So which is the period correct one?
Chrome highlights (left) or flat (right) ??????? I have both.....

My feeling after looking at my files of pictures is the one on the right is right...

CSX2129 looks polished..... Like the one on the left

CSX2002, CSX2026, CSX2054, CSX2060, CSX2062, CSX2070,CSX2072, CSX2075, CSX2085, CSX2101, CSX2104, CSX2128 all have the flat finish version on the right.

CSX2142 has polished and the one on the trunk is large too. Was there rules for these?

Here's 2142's trunk badge:

Of course, this isn't to say that it hasn't been changed over the years but it does have a nice "worn" look to it.

Well both emblems I have have the same pin spacing. Maybe I should use both..... Flat in front and chrome at the rear.......

Default Badge Pics

Jeff, found this in a book I have "Original AC Ace & Cobra" by Rinsey Mills.

Also, I think you are correct in your earlier post #207 that the one on the Right is Correct. The letter "A" on the one to the left does not look correct.

Hope this helps.
