I know the dual fans are not accurate however without side vents, like early cars I wanted to avoid boil over.

Thanks, does add a touch of utilitarianism

Like *13*, I thought about not running a front plate, but here in CA it is a $170+ fine! I made my mount go over the opening and it mounts just inside. Foam between the body and bracket. This way I can remove it quickly and not have holes in the body.
If you want to avoid the embarrassing roadside over heat, nix the pusher fans, and get a huge cfm straight blade puller fan behind the radiator. I had the pushers, worthless. Removed them. Put in the puller on an auto sensor. It may sound like a B-29 on take off, but it gets the job done.
May use the fan set for wall art. Plus several guys have lost a blade or two off the fans. Too risky for too little gain.
I also made a bug screen for the radiator. Lots of bugs here. Just an ordinary window screen held on with Velcro.
Congrats on being road worthy!
Tried to upload fotos but am failing for some reason

Rick

Send them to my email, I will post!
Proper shrouding may work with pushers here as our average temp is "cold"....

I think ok? I usually pull them of when I run as they may melt if it was to backfire. The do allow air to flow great.

Adding the bag finally too..............

The bag is a nice touch!

I'd be worried about the back firing/popping. That's pretty much why I haven't bought a set. I have some ugly tea strainers that I run. They are pretty unsightly....

I agree, no real good answer. John Bessey uses a screen plate, kinda neat.

Made an ally bracket, didn't like original rust bracket so made one myself.
It's in..........

I agree. I've designed some contraptions but , when you open the hood it would really take away from the "wow"

The bag looks great!

The screen that I use was copied from the one used by CSX2259 at the 1964 Sebring race, there are some original photos available. The reason for the screens use was during the Daytona race 2259 lost a cylinder due to debris ingestion.
