Nope,

Carters old car, CSX3047, went to Jack Launtz in blue then to Don Silawsky (Steve Sunshine had a part in later life) then now resides in Southern CA with Anthony B. CSX3047, base color is no longer a real good match to its original state...

The other gold car is CSX3021 owned by Wayne Odle, a friend of mine. Love the color so I changed my direction from Rangoon Red to Hertz Gold as my pick for this car....

Split hinge. Makes it easy to remove and re-install hood w/o paint damage... Original hinge is welded to the hood frame therefore trouble if you need to work on engine with hood off.

Very cool! I like the "aged" look to the filler cap.

Jeff, how about a recessed filler, like on the CSX 2136...

If you need the bracket for that, I will cut that for you.

You did so much work on that awesome car and you inspired me on a few things - I hope I can return the motivation.
