GOOOS..FRA..Baaaaaa.....

For general knowledge... is it period correct to prep and paint w/ the flair's and
hood scoop in place, vs. finishing them separately and afixing them afterward?

A wise Shaolin once told me that it is important to paint the parts in the correct orientation, especially with a metal flake, to get the finished product to look correct when putting them side-by-side... so doors, hood, and trunk in place for best results, as well as flares and scoop. Minor overspray is to be tolerated, Grasshopper...

Correct!
All rivots and affixed items were painted.... with car.

If you were to paint scoop separate, especially this color, it would not match.

Painter went on vacation till mid-next week
Car is all in primer, couldn't bring myself to picture.... First go around with primer left a couple slight suspect areas which needed a bit more work. Now all on point! At least ready to paint.

Still working other details though....

Well, was my birthday.... When asked what I want it will always be parts. In this case I even needed them........

Used correct nuts, cut slots in threaded end, used stainless and used aluminum sleeves. Very nice quality! Details....
