Thank Jeff Please don't take the wrong way. I wasn't saying there is anything wrong with your setup. I was just asking questions to help straighten out some problems I might be having with mine. I was asking about the trans mount adjustment because small changes can fix drive line vibration problems. My u joint working angles are not equal so I think I need to work on the mount. I to am trying to build to original specs and as accurately as possible.

Mark

No negative taken.... we are cool
I am getting itchy for a drive and just need to assemble and leave it be. I have done my best to follow the old school technique and think I did a good job.
Just at the point where once its on the car it is there until it falls off...

Set gas cap ito body last night so its time to order braided cloth lines.....
Also starting inner panels to the frame... Yikes this just might be on the road soon.

Thanks guys!

Default How long has it been?

Wow, awesome build. After all this work, are you going to be afraid to drive it. Fearful someone might run into you and mess up all that beautiful work?

Think 14 gallons?

Its been too long. Life threw me a few curve balls in the process and I almost lost it....

Now it mine and it has to run this year, even if only once....

i wonder, could you tell me exactly what bolts those are? - I dont recognise the head emblem - presumably some imperial variant? Im guessing the same were used on 427 cars?

Kevin

They are Bowmalloy bolts from years ago. Think they, Bowmalloy, went defunct in the mid-90's?

be interested to know how comfortable the new seat feels compared to a standard cobra seat with padded squab.

-thanks for the bolt info.
i did a google search on bowmalloy and found a few leads. this was one of them:
10 Bowmalloy High Strength Alloy Steel Bolts 7/8 X 2.5" Grade 8 Industrial New | Terapeak Pricing Trends

but this seemed like a better selection

http://www.toughntight.com/index.php...roducts.search

tell me if i got the wrong idea!

Kevin

I just used the Bowmalloy as they are old school. Several versions are on the cars. Like your direction......
