Measure twice, cut once.......Regardless of this minor set back, keep up the great work, can't wait to see the car up close and personal (and running )

Looks nice & clean! Where did you source the bell crank for the linkage? I'm still using the single carb linkage on mine. It works but, details....

I'm pretty sure ERA has it, also. It's on my list of upgrades, at some point... Not that even most cobra owners would notice...other than you, I & a hand full of others who have spent stupid amounts of time pouring over the little details of one little car...

Yes the heater out of the box and up in the garage would help, also the heater under my butt....
Kind of a loose list............
Connect dash wiring
String wiring to trunk and connect
Hydraulic tight check
Fuel lines tight check
battery G24?
battery cables
inner panels
ebrake
I know, to start it is really first 6. Guessing a long weekend in forward mode would put the video of the start in this thread...

I broke a sweat today. Almost forgot how that felt. Where'd you get the top? Mine isn't a fancy tan, inside.

The top is from the west coast and is original.
Kinda cool the plastic is still clear enough to see through.
May help for weekend junkets to VT

Its been awhile and the weather is allowing forward progress.............
Electrical:
Firewall complete
Trunk all wired however not fully trimmed
Engine all set
Front lights and fans under way
Dash last..........
So wanted to post my top......
1964 original top, from a friend
There will be some adjustments needed as the roll bar hangs it up and the center front naugha is split about 2" in the center between original window sill bracket. Easy repair and adjustment by vinyl guy. The rubber hose in the felt window opening needs to be replaced as the old stuff is brittle. Very pleased, this car may see three seasons when under its own power...
Cool part is the hardware and the patina on the lift-o-dots.
Rear glass can be seen through and the placement of the pins on my car accepted the top WOW
Needless to say very cool item.

Do you need to adjust the windshield angle when fitting the top for the first time or what do you do about the attachment point on the windshield?
