Yeah, just slip them over the horns.

Were you running w/o floorboards? That had to be exciting!

He said he'd sticker it with floors, he didn't specify what they were to be made of........
I think I've read between the lines of a few too many rulebooks in my past.

The ebrake looks like a tight fit. Does it clear, when released?

Everything clears. The ebrake, short shifter and 3rd gear as that is the tightest.
The T10 has fairly large linkage.

All alloy rough cut via cardboard mock ups.
Getting the scotch brite ready.

Getting pumped.

3rd is close mine, also. Are you running special fuel? Any additives? The fuel over here causes me nothing but problems. I've found a few non ethanol stations, now.

Hyde

I do run 93 however I try to get race fuel when possible. We are fortunate here as there is a at the pump Cam2 in town. Expensive but sweet.....

So far I have not done anything less than a 50/50

Maybe I should just use the cardboard? Nick thinks so... Just paint and go?

I haven't worried too much about octane, 89 is what I've been running. The non ethanol is 91, here. The problem I've been having is the idle ports(beneath the adj screw) kept clogging. Another 289 owner gave me a bottle of sea foam & I topped off with the non ethanol & the problem disappeared. Been running top notch, since. I going to run the tank down & fill up with straight non ethanol, just to see what happens. I can't find a concrete number on what % ethanol is in our fuel here but, I do know the gasoline here stinks(odor), in comparison to what we had in CA. As far as I can remember, it was no different in Oregon or Washington. I do know that CA is running close to 10% ethanol. I'm not a chemist but, I'd sure be interested in what is going on in the fuel here.

I am a chemist, by chance
There is a kit you can buy at Autozone that can give you a reasonable OH content.

How many in line filters you running?
Did you get ethanol rated hoses?

I have 4 in-line filters before fuel hits the carbs

4? Wow! I have 2 & yes, on the hoses. I also checked the screens in the carbs & they are perfectly clean.

What is OH? Sorry...
