I've been working on this car for 2 weeks now, still alot of work to go. Everything in red primer is all I had to start with. There is more pics and info on my previous thread here.

no big deal, I've built a Daytona Coupe, Cheetah and Cobra ,all from scratch, Even built the bodys from making the plaster plugs to make the molds to layin' up the bodys, nuthin' to it, hardest thing for me is deciding what's going to be next, I really like the looks of the A98 AC coupe, if I could get a few firm orders that would be the one, but allass, the world is full of tire kickers

welcome
good luck with your project
it seems that it's basic body&frame kit
but, in this sub-forum; we call it as scratch built if you start with some fabric, resin, some steel tubes, aluminum sheet etc.
there no doubt that this is the right place to ask hard-core questions
peace

Don't forget to re-enforce the fiberglass where you are mounting the pedal assembly.
You might have already done that on the passenger side of the foot box though.

The fiberglass is 7/16 thick at the firewall, I wasn't sure if that would be strong enough, should I build a metal plate on the engine side? Passenger side? meaning, the originals were right hand drive.

Just a thought, when you built the headers did you take into account the steering assembly? those ones on the drivers side look like they take up alot of space. Just asking.
Otherwise keep at it, looks like a hell of a project.

I have a complete body package that is exact as the early ERA fiberglass parts that a friend wants to sell. main body with front, middle and rear cowl supports already glassed in, inner and outer door skins, inner and outer trunk and hood skins, footboxes, dash, firewall, front inner fenders, rear trunk floor and wheelwells (one piece), trany tunnel, etc.. $3200. Regards.

yes, the steering will clear by proximately 2 1/2 inches. I'm using a mustang II steering shafts, two shafts and 3 knuckles. It has lots of maneuverability

got the radiator, roll bar and shifter installed. had some complications with the fitment of the lower outlet on the radiator, I'm going to have to move it, or angle it. But it's coming along. As always, any comments/suggestions are greatly appreciated. thanks

Just cut the lower tube at a 45 deg, spin it around and weld it back on. That should work.

Passenger side meant to mean cockpit side rather than engine side. 7/16 is fairly thick but you might want to have an over sized 1/8 or 3/16 plate on the cockpit side and also make some brackets to bolt it in from above. The fire wall flexing when you step on the clutch or brake can be an issue in these fiberglass cars.
