John, that is a 3x4 modified lift table, similar to the one in the picture below. Just keep an eye on Craigs List. I'm thinking to cut a hole in the garage and make the platform even with the floor. Then I have a lift and a 3x4 foot table right in the center of the "play room"...

The hardest part on the whole sheet metal interior were the door sills. Not only to make, but to mount them. With that small frame drilling sill body and frame whoo hoo...

Doors are in as well the RAYDOT (HAHAHA) mirrors.

Mary takes a seat, she will drive that car - most guys do not install seat adjusters ----- not here, we share!

Is it weird that it crossed my mind a few times about how much you were getting done over this past weekend? I'm really looking forward to seeing this car on the ground, but also enjoying the journey of the build.

I'm assuming it's not going to stop in a week or two's time when all is tidy'd up. You are moving on to that car hauler next...aren't you?

- Allen.

Yep Allen, it moves pretty fast now (me too).

John, I wish we could make it by this weekend - but I have a day job...

No problem Buzz - thanks.

So folks, the title is issued. The journey is over and everything is honky dory.

As mentioned before, the compromise was to put a little plate on the "door post' to satisfy the DMV requirements . Here some pictures of that....

More to this DMV story in the Texas section of CC

Just read through, I´m utterly amazed of the skill, craftsmanship and dedication this shows.

A truly beautiful car, and now I have another color in the mix for when I get my ass (and wife) around to building a kit. What color white is it? It seems a tad warmer than just flat white.
