Just for fun, cobra 2+2, for the kids.
I know that this is sacralidge but, how would one design a cobra 2+2, and still make it sorta look and kinda feel like a cobra? I have 2 little boys who are both Cobra crazy. I thought of just locking them in the trunk but nah. Maybe a reverse rumble seat with a trunk split, but I don't know if that is legal.
Anyway, I don't want to insult the purists but just for fun anybody have an idea? Oh, please don't tell me to buy a 911.
Thanks

various pics on the 'net
one guy in the UK took off the roll bar and cut a bench seat into the space between the cockpit and the trunk lid. Looked fun, but no way would i put my boy on something like that. Dog maybe, but not a kid.

Rumble seat is the best option. Cant comment on legality being in Australia but at least with the rumble seat it would look normal when closed. I would be building some serious frame work to block a rear ender.

I'm thinking your best bet is a Shelby GT500 convertible for mom and the boys and keep the Cobra for just dad.

Just like that: http://www.clubcobra.com/photopost/s...//ppuser/13115
Based on that photo would that be a scratch built frame or is there an existing manafacter that would be easier to modify?
All opinions are welcome, thanks
