I thought I remembered you posting the color, but I couldn't find it. What's the color name and code for the paint?

Craig,
Looks good. All sorts of room to work with in there Looking forward to seeing those custom made pipes.

I see a lot of effort in the primaries, but I don't like the collector.

Maybe you'll like them now that the pipes are coated?

header gasket
If you like advise on header mounting, read on. If not ignore me :-)
Think flanges, 3/8" - done
individual header pipes - done
Studs with ARP serrated nuts - almost done ;-)
No fixed connection to collector/sidepipe to keep the vibrations away - done
No gasket! (worked for me)
This way the flanges sit from day one. May not work if your sidepipes are very restrictive
To fit the sidepipes once the header pipes take a set, and may warp a bit, I let 3 of 4 loose, slide them into the collector and tighten the primaries. This is when no gasket helps. I also had the slip-in length slighlty different so that one after another can be pushed in.

Allways open to advise, if I think it makes sense and would make my job easier I'm all for it.

Nice
The pipes went together nicely, no issues with fitting the primary pipes to the side pipe collector.
Fit and finish are spot on.
Compared to some of the other junk I've seen come in here I take these pipes all day long.

The car is wonderful. The details are just incredible.
I really like the color. You mentioned Viper Red, but I don't see the code. Please post it if you don't mind.

Thanks John,
this car is coming along super nice.
The paint I was told is PPG viper red, I don't have the code but will ask the painter for it.
Cheers

Looks really good now.
I'd like to see some heat shielding over the master cylinders.

Craig makes these. It is shipped with a very nice insulating material that is applied to both sides. The insulation wasn't yet installed when this photo was taken.

Here we have one of my oil puke tanks / catch can mounted.
Drilled and tapped the gearbox breather location, made up the fitting to connect the hose to the puke tank.
