Hello everyone, Sorry that there haven't been any updates. In January my mother in law had heart surgery. She lives in Florida. My wife and I went to Florida for a couple of months to help her out. While there I wasn't feeling well and told my wife that I thought that I might be having a problem with my heart.
We returned home in mid March. While driving through MA, on my way to see a daughter, I had a major heart attack. Fortunately I was close to a hospital that had a Cardiac unit. They were able to fix me up. I'm back home and doing follow up with my Doctor today. I'm hoping to get an OK to get back to normal. I want to get back in the shop and work on my car. Hopefully, new pictures soon.
Looking to live a less stressful life. Need to drive the Cobra every day.

Sorry to hear the bad news, but glad you're on the mend. ... Times like those make us appreciate the simple pleasures of an ordinary day .... in the garage.

John,
Glad to hear you are on the mend. Follow those doctors orders and relax … which I bet include driving your Cobra and working on you Kellison project PRN.

John, best of health to you! Just a day before you started posting again, a fella came across a Kellison picture at vettemod.com. He had never knew of the car. Someone remarked why the person used a C1 suspension and not C2. Anyhow I took the liberty of posting a link over there to here. Hope you don't mind, they're a pretty good bunch of guys.. Cool car by the way.
I would guess you've been to a site, Forgotten Fiberglass?
Ralphy

Thank you for the words of support. I'm doing better and worked a few days in the shop t last week. Ralphy I'll check out the vette link. And, yes I have been to the Forgotten Fiberglass site. Love it.
The C4 roller that I was test fitting the body to didn't have an engine. I wanted to make sure that the mods that I am making would clear everything so I searched Craigs list for a complete C4. My first search turned up a beat up but running C4 a couple hours from me. I bought it for $700 and drove it into my trailer. I stripped the body off of it and started thinking about fitting the Kellison body to the Vette chassis while keeping the Vette's roll hoop, windshield and doors. I cut the body some to test fit. In the end the look wasn't acceptable to me so now I have to glue the body back together! I did discover that the hood will not clear the engine and radiator with out some mods.
In the meantime I was looking at the C4 stripped down chassis and it occurred to me that it would be cool to fab an exoskeleton frame from roll bar tubing and bolt it to the existing chassis. So, I'm making a little rat rod, locost, exoskeleton inspired creation that is simple and cheap. Besides mounting a new fuel tank I won't have to do anything mechanically to it. Now, I have 2 projects, the Kellison C4 and the ExoVette. Back to having some fun.
