Are they Comp flares aft and FIA flares forward? I'm hooked already!

I haven't seen that car before except what you've posted. What's the story with it?

Shelby 8000 body SN2, any more info would be appreciated. It looks like they grafted flares onto a slabside rather than making a mold.

Can't wait to see how this one turns out. Your fabrication skills and attention to detail are simply amazing. Plus the small block cobras are my favorite.

Is that one of Tim's frames or Hi Tech SA?

Are they standard top mounts for the front leafsprings? and as it's a prototype how does it vary from standard, I'm not clued on those details.
Lastly would the cost of a Panelcraft body be prohibitive?
Cheers
Martin

This to my knowledge is a (Tim G) HT-Kincaid frame? Frame was before Ross started their cars.
Need to find J Fox to get info.
As for Panelcraft, part may be from Joe but whole body out of my budget...
The CSX8000 #2 body was a prototype body, added front and back flares. So it is a slabside with light flares.
Spoke to Gary on this one, still digging up info on origination etc.....

Jeff,
That looks like a really nice chassis and body! Looking forward to the build. Is the chassis ready for paint?

Yes, need to hit it with acid to clear up metal and then steel wool. Followed by epoxy primer and paint. Still needs a few button up welding things but mostly done. Then probably sits till weather gets cold so I can run around in Goldie...

The top of the uprights are camber type for adjustment. This is not a prototype thing, more of a 8000 series thing.
My other car is original style fixed.

This new build will be a reproduction of CSX2317..... Will be doing some light work this summer but most of the heavy lifting comes in the fall.
Now that I have wheels I may post first pictures this week.
