Trunk lid back on for the final time hopefully, fuel cap bolted down.
Mounted the hood scoop as well.

Now, my opinion is 100% biased, but I LOVE dark blue. It looks just as good on your car, as it does on mine...

Thanks guy's
The dark blue is certainly a nice color.
Next up for this one is the roll bar, for this car we are going with a polished stainless, got the main hoop installed, now I can fit the 3rd (back) leg and it's mount in the trunk..

Finally finished the roll bar, added the 3rd leg, support bracket and polish.
Installed in the car for the final time, hopefully!

That's gonna be one lucky owner.
When all is said and done, what's the build time?

Hi Rodney
I have been banging away on this one on and off for a little over a year now
Seems like a long time but there has been plenty of other work going on as well.
All effort on this one now as I need it out of the shop, (need the space )
It's very exciting to be close to putting an engine in, been waiting on blocks but have been told mine are ready to ship,

Today's job is to get the hood latches and handles fitted.
I am making up the round base flanges from stainless.
I think it's going to work just fine .

Nice work, those look great! It will be a beauty to behold when it is done. You need to do a victory tour when it is completed and show off your work in person

Neutral
Here in South Australia i was told that hood catch handles are to dangerous and not allowed. As someones flies over the bonnet and cracks there skull on the windscreen, the handles could give you a nasty bruise.

Seems like to me that getting a nasty bruise from the handle as one is flying over the bonnet and hitting the windscreen would be the least of their worries
