I am very excited to see how nicely the body is progressing. I guess I really need to decide on a paint color

Yes, it really is coming together nicely! It seems a shame to cover that nice work with paint, but I probably would be painting it as well.

Thanks. I love the red on your car and will probably be heading in the same direction. Red body, no stripes, everything else in satin black. Similar to my old Contemporary.

If I may suggest a couple Blue Hues...without offending, of course. My current 914 and my old Contemporary. Color + Cobra = Blue (to me). All the best.

Latest update. Hope to have the body mostly done by the end of the month. Slow and steady...

Fortunately Craig was able to make the alloy body work with the hood that I fabricated. Not the normal way to do things but I am glad that it all worked out

The hood fits nice. A true sign of professional workmanship. Now all you need to do is have a few people walk over the top of it and leave foot prints and it will loo real authentic

You did a great job on the hood Kevin We are happy to be able to use it, next we need to make your trunk lid panel work
It has come a long way from this

Congrats, should not be too long before you are sitting behind the wheel. A nice piece of workmanship.

This one is just about finished with the body fitment.
Just finishing up a few small details, but looking very nice.
Kevin you will have to start planning a trip down to see the progress.

Already jealous !
Supper nice work, cannot wait to see it first hand.
My vote on color;
(No Stripes)
Guardsman
Hertz Gold
Wimbledon White (Looks bad ass on 427)

Jeff, nice suggestions
The red I have on one of my other builds looks absolutely stunning, I think Kevin has Red on his mind but until it goes to paint anything could happen

Agreed, Jeff. White is often overlooked. Great color to let patina, IMO.

To the matter of color, might I suggest;
That body is too pretty to cover up!
