I am a registred user but don't know why my main thread is gone..

Hi Wigly,
You need much more of information than only "cobra restorer blueprints" Because of missing or wrong dimensions ! https://www.ozgurtan.com/2018/10/ori...hassis-3d.html Quote:

Hi Wigly,
Is this your previous thread, and you can't access it: http://www.clubcobra.com/forums/orig...427-frame.html Have you lost your log-in, or having difficulty logging in? You haven't posted for a while, so maybe your login is lost in a site database update? Gary |
Hi everybody,
i put every information in here, but after the linking to my galary my main artikel disappears. I've saw a message that an admin has to check my post... I am working on the last details of my CAD CR-Chassis model and need some help. Can somebody tell me the correct angle of the shock tower and backcut angle of front lower A-Arm bracket? |
@Gary
I can login and everything, the only problem seems to be in the image linking. The Thickness main tube thread is an old one. |
required angle of the shock tower: 109deg
required bracket dimensions: 35.10mm and 72.48deg Quote:

Once you are past a low of figure of 10, it becomes a lot easier. The reason they do that is they have to learn to trust new members to limit spammers. Gary |

An alternative may be to have the images hosted elsewhere and provide links to them in your post / comments. |
@Gary
thx for that information. @Brian I did that but it just didn't work But nevertheless.. you can see the images in my galary right? @Ozgur_Tan the bracket dimensions sounds a little bit odd to me. Converting the 35.1 mm in inches isn't the size i would expecting :confused: How long is the main tube without the end cap? -> in the blueprint (first page) it looks like the total length includes the end caps.. |
g'day
it was long time ago, they are OK but i'll post more when i return to home. i also have to work with imperial then convert to metric dimension values. as you may see attached my WIP screen shots suspension pickup points at chassis side etc. are correct i'm still working on some details peace ozgur ozgurtan.com http://www.clubcobra.com/photopost/d...t_08_30_20.jpg http://www.clubcobra.com/photopost/d..._20_58_27x.jpg |
Hello everybody, it's me Wigly. I have had to create a new account because the old one wasn't working anymore -> even Brent Mills reseted my pw... i couldn't login.
@Ozgur_Tan Thank you for the information. How long is the main tube without the end cap? -> in the blueprint (first page) it looks like the total length includes the end caps.. if i check the position information of the upper support tube the end caps are 0.125 thick and not 0.120. Is that right? |
It all depends which drawings you are looking at.
I have some with and without the caps both saying 96.75" |
Hi Wigly! Welcome back to the build section... For the Endcaps and other 1/8" steel bracketry, you should use .120 for your measure as 11ga steel sheet will not be .125 Go with the 96.75 Overall and start your build from the rear forward ; )
Good luck, Mike |
Hi everybody,
after a very long time i can login again. YEAH :) Thank you so far for the information. I am currently working on the front upper and lower control arms, guess will need some help later on. |
