Help with mounting pedals

Hello, didn't know where to post this.

Building a classic roadster, quite a few modifications. Re worked the firewall, moved the frame rail over and made the foot well larger, shrunk the transmission tunnel. Using tilton 600 series firewall mounted pedals. Wondering if there's a rule of thumb on how high off the floor to mount the pedals. The range of motion isn't an issue, I'm just trying to figure out if there's a height to the bottom of the pedal, to the center of the pedal... the pads are adjustable.

Any insight and suggestions appreciated.
