Hi,
here it's, picture from rear
trunk is shorted and reverse opening like csx2136 (because of fastback hardtop and large fuel tank)
rear tires 235/60R15 but i'll replace with 265/50R15
windscreen frame made from 316 stainless steel
exhaust exit will be parallel to ground
Regards
Ozgur

Excellent work, my friend! It is my goal to do the same thing one day soon. I have a cobra so I'm thinking of doing a custom designed racer. Your work is inspiring!!!

Thank you for your kind words
Your FIA is very good one

WOW somebody should be writeing a book on your project, you have done an amazing job of makeing your own molds and doing all the computer work, this is more than just bolting together some parts. This is "Craftsmanship" at its best...

Thank you Bob,
No need for boring book, I'm just a mechanical engineer who love sport cars.
Frankly, I've bolted some parts like engine, transmission, differential, suspension, steering column, wheel&tires and interior&exterior trim parts from Finishline etc.
Peace,
Ozgur@istanbul

Ozgur, Do you have any more pictures of the wood strips being applied to the buck or maybe more detail pictures of the buck with the strips freshly laid? I'm interested in how that was done. Thank You!

as we all know that choosing color is very difficult issue
initially I would like to paint GT40 Gulf powder blue and white stripes
but, nowadays I'm thinking viking blue with white stripes
I'm also thinking about interior color; red, tan etc.

I agree. Color was the toughest choice. Can't wait to see it!

Ozgur,
I've been following your progress without comment or question until now. Like others, I'm profoundly impressed by the depth of your knowledge, skill and determination. I have one question. How many other Cobras (real or replica) do you see in Istanbul?

Hi Tommy
Thank you for your nice words
There are one ERA 427 with side oiler, one ERA 427 with 428, one DAX Tojeiro, four Pilgrim Sumo and five hybrids body from modified DAX with running gear from Corvette.
I don't know about any original one around.
Regards
Ozgur

Could you show some picture also that mold what you made? I just drag mold pieces to carage and start cleaning those so I spend whole day just to sanding worst part/area of those.
