some alternatives;
1. gulf colors; powder blue with orange single stripe
2. viking blue with twin white stripe
3. powder blue with twin white stripe
i'm thinking to paint fenderflares and front lip to different than main body color

Well, you asked for feedback...
Your fabrication process was impressive and the color scheme is interesting, but that blister on the hood is too bulbous and sits too far forward. It clashes with the classic lines you so painstakingly replicated and makes the front of the car resemble an SUV.
To reiterate - your skills are impressive and it's all yours to finish in a way that makes you happy. I was following the build with enthusiastic interest, but that is fading as this becomes less of a Cobra and more of a Krazy Kustom Kar project!
You are having fun with it and that is what matters! Carry on and enjoy!

yes, the most important thing is to find some project to work on it.
my blank canvas is base 289
than start modifying thing
hey, i'm an mechanical engineer and love to play with my toys
to improve front lift @ high speed problem with front lip & front fenders
to reduce windscreen lift @ high speed problem with thick stainless steel wind screen and more rigid mounting method to chassis
location of engine is not so rearward to increase pedal area ergonomics
but locating 24 gallon (90 lt) stainless steel petrol tank @ top of rear suspension
more modern interior with center consol & dashboard
moving of hand brake to left side of driver seat to improve ergonomics
etc. etc.
maybe second or third one will be street trim without ugly hood bulge and fender extentions

The fender extensions actually look quite good and integrate nicely with the body. I understand why you had to move the scoop forward. I guess I was so taken with the sleek lines of your 289 body that it really hurts my eye to see the bulge in that position.
But you didn't put all this effort in to please me - so as long as you're happy, I'm happy for you. I wish I could produce my own Cobra bodies and if I could, who knows - I would probably experiment a little bit too!

Beauty truly is in the eye of the beholder, so I offer my opinion only because you asked. Had you maintained the original body lines I would have found the paint scheme to be too unconventional and not desirable. But given the custom look your car has evolved to have, I think the paint scheme goes well. If you are happy with it, that's all that matters.

I saw my first cobra with gulf colors in fresh at Cobra Club meeting Lelystad/Netherlands years ago. She looks very bold. When I saw Ferrari 430 spyder with powder blue with tan interior when ride to workshop, I start to play with idea of powder/baby/gt40 blue. single or traditional twin stripes, front/rear fender extensions and front lip color change apperance of the car drastically. frankly my previous cobra is dark metallic blue with tan interior without stripes.

Because of location of the engine I could not move bulge to rearwards, but thinking about reduce height of it.
