On a, perhaps, final note, if you form/shape/roll/hammer a body from aluminium you primarily need metal shaping tools (obvious).
The buck is your reference template where you try if the individual pieces have the correct shape. You do not form metal over the buck.
In essence, you can use any 427 Cobra body as a buck. Your final project will be a mere 3 mm wider...
Italian metal shapers were known for hammering and bending more than the UK guys who roll the material through an (your guessed it) english wheel!

If you know anyone looking for a daytona coupe, I have a partially completed car with all of the glass (original coupe front windshield) and plexiglass parts (rear hatch, rear quarter window/brake scoops, front headlight covers and front driving light covers. Comes with enough glass / plexiglass parts to build 3 more cars. Also comes with some very nice moulds to build as many cars as you want. Body mold, front bonnet mold, left and right inrerior and exterior mold and rear spoiler molds. I can provide pics if needed. Or I also have a 289 cobra roadster frame, with all of the daytona coupe mods, complete 289 cobra suspension, jag rear end housing and 289 engine (fresh) and top loader trans (fresh) that comes with a daytona coupe body, glass, and plexiglass parts.
