Shamrock Cobra Super Snake Front calipers
Looking for any help, I just bought a 1967 Replica Shamrock Super Snake for my wife, her grand father built it and it was alway a dream of hers to be able to own in one day, so needless to say this is that day. What I’m looking for is any info on what calipers they put on them from the factory? I’ve read they could possibly be Jaguar XJ6 type 2 calipers? I do know they are from a Jag I just don’t now which year or model. Again any help would be much appreciated!

These guys might know. Jag component specialists since 1984.
Including Cobra and other rolling chassis cars using Jag parts.

it's my understanding that two brothers in Chattanooga imported nine Shamrocks into the U.S.
I have worked on one, but don't remember what Jag they used.

Due to the lack of availability Shamrock may have used XJ S1 calipers with a spacer to fit the vented disks of the XJ6 S2. Which would mean S1 bake pads will fit.
Which could also mean S2 calipers may fit (on the front uprights). That you can ask at Jag-Lovers forum.
There is a guy in Cape Town who works on Shamrock since they existed (1984).
