Arrow Modifying of threads

The whole concept of having this forum is open discussion. With your new tactic of:

"SAI has asked Brent Mills to lock this tread and let it slip into the archives. We believe we have
either adequately answered the initial inquiry within this thread, answered similar questions on the general forum, or that the subject has become dated. If you have further inquiry into this subject please contact me or Bob Marsh directly by e-mail. Bob is responsible for our Cobra
program"

I do not see this as being very open (both the positive and the negative threads). Can you explain yourself Wayne, and your reasoning behind this sudden move on your (or SAI's) part. I find it quite disturbing that you would want to cut off any and all communications with a group of people as dedicated to preserving the legacy of one particular vehicle, such as this forum.................

I'll await your response (either here, or off line if you like)...............

Sincerely,

Bill S.

I have to agree with that! I thought the goal was to curtail the threads on the All Cobra Talk... seems like locking these down kind of flies in the face of the intention - which is to improve communications... no?

I guess we all have different ideas of communication. I can understand closing the asked and answered threads - but it seems like the brushstroke is pretty broad! Even the Christmas good wishes thread???

Oh well, no harm to me. I'm happy with my all original SPF
