To me that is a perfect car!
No stripes, correctly made and just the way I woudl do it.....
Best of luck on the sale, if not for my 289 in process it would be a real discussion at the dinner table.
Looks to have an ally hood as well? Nice! :)

Thank you very much - I believe it is a steal...even in this economy!

Very pretty indeed, but color me very skeptical on the quoted torque and horsepower numbers. Given an assumed 15% drive line loss, that 427 would be cranking out around 630 at the flywheel. Sorry, but that just isn't realistic.

Agreed. Revise the hype. Not happening on a 427 with 3310 on pump gas and 9.5 compression. Tell the truth to sell the car.

Well, I know someone with 447 cubes, a 3310, and 10.6 compression........ 450 honest HP.;) (Maybe a tad more on a good day.)
EDIT -- And that's at the flywheel.

Kroyer engine in my car is 468 inches all alum 4 stage dry sump 10.5 to 1 with 58mm T.W.M. fuel injection controlled by Motec. 660 hp on engine dyno with 570 tq. To the rear wheels dropped to 580 hp at 6000, could not push to 7000 , to scary, not necessary for me Tq. was 220 at 2400 rpm and was at 480 at 3500 rpm. Tq. started dropping off about 5300 but was still above 450 to my self limit of 6000 rpm. Runs on pump gas.

Relax guys. 1.52 HP per CI out of that combination is designed to fool buyers that don't know any better. The owner apparently lied to GP who wasn't smart enough to change the wording or question it. And that's giving him the benefit of the doubt because he said there's no profit for him in the sale. -Future sales to this seller is implied.

It's a very nice car and color, but to call it a "steal in this economy" or any economy is really hyperbole. IMHO.
Best of luck with the sale.

Based on the compression, cam and heads I'd say the rear wheel HP would be closer to 460 to 480. My all aluminum 496 FE with 10:7 compression, big solid roller, single plan intake, Quick Fuel 850 and Stage 3 heads made 681HP at the crank and 530HP at the wheels. We only ran it a couple times on the chassis dyno on a high humid day and still a bit rich so thinking it's probably got another 20 in it a bit leaner and better day but I doubt his combination would be over 500 at wheels. Pretty car however!
Here's pic of my KC 496 FE....
