Default CSX6108 Update and pics

Hello all:
This is Hector reporting in. I am a new owner, and have posted somewhere in this forum once before.
After almost a year after placing my order, CSX6108 is a reality, and is being shipped out of Las Vegas as I write.
It turned out just like I expected it. Can't wait to drive it (although it is not finished yet)

Looks nice! Any details you can share on the engine you're putting in it?

Thanks, all!
Hello there, Nick!
Stentor, it will be the recipient of an NOS 1968 427 FE SO iron service block stroked to 484 ci aluminum single plane intake, aluminum heads, single 4 bbl carb. Period correct with turkey pan, Aviaid oil pan, pent roof chrome covers, surge tank, puke tanks, black painted radiator & block, black wiring, etc. As close to period correct as I can afford. It should be good for 565 hp and 500 ft/lb torque.
Coupled to a 4 speed big spline close ratio top loader tranny 3.54:1 rear Salisbury
Cheers!

A few more pics... don't want this thread to become boring, but posting these makes me deal with the anxiety of waiting
(that's my NOS '68 427 SO taking form...)

Are you kidding, keep posting, that car looks magnificent. I've never seen that colour combination anywhere.
Please post more pictures as you go along!

Regards.

Thank you, CSX4815.
Thank you, Kurt. That's at the showroom at Olthoff Racing. Dennis has been very nice and is keeping my car while the engine gets there, where he will finish it.

Cheers!

fordracing65, thank you. I am very excited to work with Dennis. He has been super helpful (and patient with a first time owner). Bill & Susan Parham (Southern Automotive) have also been excellent to work with, and I am looking forward to an awesome engine.

Cheers!

Hector
