What is the best clutch / brake hydraulic fluid for use in a CSX4000?

Whatever was in it when built . All street use

Ray,
You'll need to check with the builder to see if it was DOT 5 fluid. If so, you'll want to continue using it. If it was DOT 3 or 4, you can use either of those. DOT 3 is fine for street use. DOT 4 is better for track use as it stands up better to higher temperatures generated by heavily used brakes. I use ATE brand DOT 4 fluid.
