Default Csx6069

Anyone got any Info on this car? Trying to determine the history and possible who installed the drivetrain. It's currently for sale out in Burlingame California.

I emailed Mr Becker who sold the rolling chassis in 2010 but he couldn't provide any additional info.

Here is the ad for the car

1965 Used Shelby CSX COBRA RDSTR - SHELBY CSX COBRA w ALUM BLOCK SHELBY 427ci ALUM BLOCK SIDE OILER at Scottsdale Sport of San Francisco Serving Burlingame, CA, IID 14109791

I don't know anything about the car but find it interesting that the seller claims to be the only authorized Cobra dealer in Arizona yet they're not listed on the Shelby website.

The car is in the San Fransisco dealership but I did check the Shelby site and didn't them a a listed dealer.

I have requested info from the seller just thought I check here to to see if anyone had any info on the car or knew the prior owner being CSX community is pretty tight.

We have several Bay Area members that could take a peek at it I would think.
You might have to bribe them with a Starbucks card or a nice dinner at Mama's!

Beautiful color! Engine? Trans? Rear end? All left out out of the ad. Looks nice though. But then, they all do.

OK Hatrick.

I'll help, if Lippy can't do it or if want another opinion. I'm about 30 mins away. But do Internet trolls offer help to others, what's the call there?

As someone who has danced the line between "helpful contributor" and "boorish troll" for over a decade, I can assure you that is not troll behavior. In fact, checking this car out personally will earn you three "get out of troll jail" cards. Remember my cam gift? That kept me out for the better part of a year.

I would be curious who the engine builder was and who fitted out the car. Sounds like that info might be hard to find out unless the dealer is selling on consignment for the owner and you could talk to him.
I could do without the bumper bling, but that's just me.
