$189,000?
The Cobra Country ad from 2015 listed the asking price as $159,000 and the car sold. With the history of this car (e.g., main tubes were drilled to let the sludge spill out), the full retail price boggles my mind. I'd rather buy a new roller or find another used alloy CSX probably for about the same amount of money.
I've always said that a "branded" car/title was worth about 50% of market and that's about right for me. The flooded car was forklifted, IIRC, and purchased for around $40,000. There's no way, in my mind, that there's $150,000 of rebuild dollars there.
Nothing to see here.
