Note, CSX 4750 to CSX 4760 were meant to be built in South Africa. Perhaps two up or down. Six of them actually left the country, sort of finished. And then onwards from some number similar to yours?

Seems I cannot attach (chassis) pics. I also see that you are from Vegas.
Weren't, after the SA factory closed down, them CSX 4000 cars built in Mexico and a prison in Vegas?
What I am saying is, there should be know how and possible parts nearby.

Should you not have the bigger holes (1.5" diameter) in the outer brackets, to receive the cup washer?

The cups go in the inside brackets. I’m waiting for new cups. I turned down a couple of fender washers and drilled holes in them so I have a solid fit. I sandwiched them between 2 larger washers. I think it’s more accurate than using the cups. This made it easier to get the right distance between the brackets also.

I confirmed with Tony at Shelby that my car was built in South Africa. Shelby doesn’t sell parts for their cars anymore and they have turned it over to Superformance… much to my surprise.

Well, Superformance builds them here in SA. But it is a surprise that nobody in the US can help you with parts. Some cars and their bodies had been made in the US at HST (are they in Vegas?) before Superformance took over in SA.
I am surprised that there is no mold in the US left to make body parts. Granted, they scrap them after they are worn out. Or shipped back to SA.
What else do you need? Did you check with the scratch builders?
I just checked, yes my bad. Cup washers on inside at the lower, outside at upper. I built without them and sleeved to within 1/10 mm.
