I am building CSX4068. My dealer, Jim Bartlett, has been most helpful during the build-up. But I need help locating a couple of small parts that were not included with my car. I'm missing the knob and attaching hardware for the wiper switch. Jim tells me thay have been back ordered. I missed them when I did my initial inventory upon taking delivery of the car. The switch was in its proper box, and I didn't open the box to check for attaching hardware. I've had the car almost two years, and I realize you guys can't support these things forever, but I need the parts ASAP. If you can't or won't provide them, could you recommend a source so I can get them and get on with the assembly? Thanks!

DougD,
I think your request for help arrived at a time when all the the focus at SAI was on sueing the competitors out of existance.
That might have made sense 30 years ago, but, now I think it looks more like trying to steal a market built by others after CS decided it was not worth his time.

Doug -
Try Finish Line (finishline.com); they carry a lot of parts for Cobras.
Mention that you're from CC and you'll probably get a discount, too! Hope this helps!
Now for my SAI comment (which is in no way directed towards Doug): For a company that is should be willing to help out their customers, it seems awfully silly to me that it falls to Meat to step up and help out a customer of a company that is trying to destroy the industry - but then again, Meat cares about the industry and not the cash. Shelby, you're a bad, bad, bad company.

I have ordered small dash parts from these people, and also from Tony Branda. The parts are very real and authentic, and priced accordingly. But give them a call, or try the link below.

customer service
I was re-reading this thread and I felt it was necessary to bring this one to an end, since Turk had referred to me in one of his postings, implying an unhappy customer. In all fairness to Shelby American, my request for this part was over two years from when I accepted delivery of the kit. Soon after delivery, I contacted them about a short list of missing items. They promptly shipped them to me. Then I found I had missed one small part in my inventory two years ago. I received the knob from SA several months ago and am progressing happily on my cars build. Contrary to some people's opinions, there ARE happy Shelby American customers and I am one of them.
