csx4000 build shut down?
I don't mean to start a rumor here, i'm just trying to find out if something i heard is true. Please slam away if it's bunk.
did the plant that's supposed to be building the new S A shelbys go under? what i heard was they went under, adn now they're re-opened but just building gt40s... two new csx4000s shipped and then zippo unless something changes truth or fiction? anyone? |
What was your source? Was it a publication, or a web site, or...?

That "rumor" has been floated around here in several threads now. The most recent reference to it was from a newbie and it was his FIRST post.

my source was a someone who told me. i never met him before today, and have no reason to believe or disbelieve him. Not being one given to leaps of faith, i figured i'd ask here, figuring a few people might know something. i live to debunk. in reference to the other thread (thanks, Ex), i don't have any opinion on Shelby cars or any other manufacturers. Hell, i dont have a cobra yet, and i'd love to get a new CSX4000 when they turn up if they're solid. I'd just as much love an SPF or an ERA if that ends up the way i go. i just heard it, so I thought i'd ask. |

You are NOT the first one trying to verify if the rumors you heard are true or not. Nothing worng with that. It would be in the interest of ALL members if we can put those rumors to rest once and for all. Can you tell me your sources? I promise to go all the way up to the horse's mouth to hear what they have to say. If you don't feel comfortable in sharing that source in public, please feel free to send it to me in private, and I will do due dilligence to get an answer for all the members. how can you smell BS from me, when all i did was ask a damn question? You're all the experts...i came here to GET an answer, not to say anything. y'know what... Turk... all the rest of you... look into it, don't look into it, i don't give a crap. I've been here two weeks, trying to do some research to pick a car to buy, and i thought this site would be a source of information, but instead it's more like a damn soap opera. does someone actually want to discourse about these cars that the things that are different about them, or is everyone a freakin' spy of some kind? screw it, i'll just wait and see if the cars show up or not. sorry i asked... |

I too am curious,but it seems that any thing negative about any company always comes from a competive company,it is really hard to believe someone from BDR would get wind before any one else here,with all the connections on this site,,

I just got home to read the post that you made public. It is probably best that way. I will forward the post to folks at Shelby as high as I can. I am sure they will have a thing or two to say. For the sake of those who have deposits, I for one hope that rumors are just that. Rumors. But hard to say if they are not made public. tddnea, It is NOT important that I see it.
