Who is Superformance
Maybe I am overlooking the situation but why do I not see Superformance on the manufacturers page link?
Thanks,

That's a good question Brent, I never looked until you mentioned it. It may be because they didn't submit, I don't know. Anyone?

The manufacturer's forums on Club Cobra are setup on request, when the company asks for their own forum and agrees to monitor and reply to posts.
SPF has never requested a forum here. The Owner's Group has their own website and a private forum, for owners-only.

Hey Flyin...tell the boys and girls in Memphis and beyond that they're doing a heck of a job. Everything I ordered via FedEx on time; everything via UPS late.

Why, Thank You...
...Thanks much, Ron... I know we damn sure try to get everything where it needs to be on time as promised. It don't always happen that way, but it's nice to hear about when it does. If you only knew the planning and preparation we go through every day to keep it all working...I'm in my 28th year here, and it still amazes me. Everyone from Ground Operations, to Hub Ops, to Flight Planning...and even us computer geeks...we all have to prepare a Peak Season Plan and then account for every piece of it every day and make atonement for anything that doesn't work as planned. It's a nightmare....but, like I said...it's gratifying to know when it all works right...!
Thanks....and I'll be sure and pass your comment on to our Long Range Planning and Operations folks. They'll appreciate the positive feedback.

Brent,
Did you sustain a head injury?
Are you experiencing amnesia?
I believe that you "personally" provided a tour to Price and Fischers during a recent event in Las Vegas. My impression of Jim Price is pleasantly memorable and his stature is certainly not one easily forgotten.

Dan,
I don't know where you are going with the question or statement about Mr. Price but will answer in the form of a question and statment.
I did give a tour as well as sat down with Jim Price, James Fisher and CS and discussed manufacturing philosophy as well as future potential relationships. I must say after meeting with him in person and from our discussions he is a very smart, inteligant and level headed man.
The post was not meant as a insult to Jim or SPF, to be quite honest I was not aware of the procedure that was used to get manufactures listed due to the fact that we were asked a couple years ago and we of course agreed.
Are you saying I should have asked the question of Jim myself when he was here?
If that is what you are getting at, now that I know the process I will ask him the next time we speak.

Brent,
That's exactly what I was driving at. I know that Jim Price as well as "most" of the Superformance dealers do not participate on the forum for reasons that Ron explained above. They also realize that their dealer network is so customer responsive that every imagineable question can be quickly addressed in person in order to avoid any miscommunications or communication oversights.

Hey Guys...
I understand the surface reasons for Superformance not having a forum on here because they have not asked for one. The big question I guess in my mind is why not??? I understand they have their own site for their owners, but so do most of the other manufacturers. I am certain that some of the Superformance owners participate on here, right?? Certainly some of the car owners participate on here in disucssions, right?
if I missed anything from earlier statements, please let me know...thanks

Deacon,
You must get off on stiring the pot. Either that, or your more manic than I am .
Bill S.
PS: You want to ask a question like this, do it in the "All Talk Cobra" section of this web site. As it really has nothing to do with SAI......................

Guy,
If you need a sound reason for their absence, review the recent posts from Brent Fenimore and the severe damage that he inflicted on Shelby American.
The Superformance people are wise in NOT participating or engaging in any internet discussions. They have a dealer network that will readily address any and all problems.
Maybe Brent should take some lessons from the South African gentlemen.

Guy... I think you are constantly missing something from earlier statements.

Ron,
Might I suggest splitting out this thread in to one on topic for here, and another one on topic for the "All Talk Cobra" section of this web site.

Bill, thanks for the suggestion...not worth the effort.
I just went thru this thread and it has no real value, the original question was addressed.
