Default UNDER FENDER PROTECTION, HELP!

Ok I took a test drive and one of the sounds I heard was small rock hitting the underneath or inside the fenders. What to do? I was thinking about sticking Dyna Mat (sound deadening mat material) but I know some are running foam. Where do I purchase this from and any other advise you can provide would be great.

I don't know how hard it would be after the fact, but mine is all Rhino lined and it really deadens the noise.

You might give Kirkham a call, they supply their cars with a dense foam liner that is installed with contact cement. It made a big difference in my aluminum car. Be aware, however, that you will continue to hear rock dings even after you use the foam, as there are areas that are not covered. It is especially bad when you run the Big Letter Goodyears.

Thumbs up

Morgan,

Shelby has that foam lining. I am sure Ted at Shelby could hook you up.

Thumbs up Rhino lining

I think that I will look into 'Rhino lining'. I really like the way it works in my truck bed. I think it would work great!

Thanks for the information. I put a call into Ted at Shelby and left him a message.

Kris have not heard from you in a while. Happy New Year. Look forward to seeing you in Vegas.

Rhino lining. The fellow who did my truck bed said he does wheel wells fairly regularly. I'll be setting up with him in a couple of months when the weather clears.
