I'm sure Kirkahm or Shelby will build your car identical to the original if you wantd them to. I think most people don't care, or prefer some updated parts. These are hand built cars, and can be built for the most part anyway you want them to be.

Guys..

Simple truth...buy the Shelby if you want the value to hold. The name is there. The history is there. In fact the history goes on. The Kirkham maybe similar to, but will never be the "same" as a Shelby...just the plain truth.

They seem to be doing great things at Shelby, and things are going gang busters. Improvements and advancements are happeing all the time at Shelby. Go with the proven winner I say..

Later guys

Then why are there so many people waiting for cars that were ordered in 2003?

Maybe you meant things at Shelby Licensing are going gang busters.

I never said there time table on delivery had sped up any...did I?

But just like Heinz Ketchup, its anticipation of the end result that makes it worth it.. A shelby is still a Shelby

It's the delivery that makes it worth it. People waiting 18-20 months sucks.
With everybody knowing how slow production has been going makes saying "things are going gang busters" imply that they are getting product completed faster and I haven't seen any indication of that here or anywhere else.

Guy... don't come in here every 2 or three months and resurrect some dead thread about SA....
It serves no purpose and, in some cases, can incite old news and more bashing...which we don't want.

If you have something new and factual to report...do it on a new thread.

Thanks
