Congrats Jdog, I know ithas been a long wait and you put up with a a lot of S#i+ . Car looks great, now enjoy the heck out of it.
Hint: Don't spend all your spare time in the garage or you may get sent there for the duration

Hey jdog, that is one beautiful car! If mine looks half as good, I will be a happy man! I have ordered it from SPF in Canada. They haven't been able to give me a CSX # yet. Still trying to iron out the details with Transport Canada. It is being made in South Africa. Supposed to be later this year. Will be crossing my fingers and anthing else that is possible.

Things are getting better!
Thank you Amy, I didn't mean to be such a pain-in-the-*ss, it just came across that way.
Things got a lot better once you came along, and there was some dialog with the customers. Seeing pictures posted on line, really helped!
The cars are beautiful and I feel great about my decision to wait. I'm sure everyone will be just as pleased. Just keep some regular communication with those waiting for there cars, and everyone will be happy! I know I am!
jdog
P.S. A happy Shelby customer!

For those of us on the sidelines who watched what jdog went through, it was getting pretty close to unreal - and he gets all the credit for hanging in there. Glad to see it all worked out.

My garage is a warm & friendly place!
Thanks everyone, it's all been worth it.
Duane, I went for a ride today in Kmarcoco's ERA with a new 428 that Tom built for him, WOW! I can't wait!
Do you have any pull with Tom at FE Specialties?
jdog
P.S. I'll be seeing Tom soon!

Update
I ordered the trans & other parts needed for the engine installation, from FE Specialties, yesterday! I will take my car in to Tom's in 2 weeks. She should be on the road by mid July. This is getting exciting!
Also, thanks to George at Gessford, for shipping me some of the parts I need, so quickly. Your the Bomb, George!
Now I just need a few items from Finish Line and a couple of battery's and she should be ready to run!
I'll post some pictures of the installation.

jdog,
Glad to hear you are working with Tom at FE Specialties. He is the best in my book! I'm hoping he is going with us for breakfast to Angels Camp tomorrow morning. I know what it's like to have real issues trying to get your car done. Glad to see that it's finally coming together for you!
Hope to see you soon, John

How's My License Plates Coming Along?
Jdog,
I'm gonna need my plates real soon for CSX4794 - taking it home tomorrow in running condition!!!!
Enjoyed meeting you the other day when you picked up your car. It is a beauty. Good luck with your build.
Mark
P.S. - Try to stay in your lane when hauling your car. I followed you for about a mile and your trailer was weaving pretty well.

Rear view mirror!
LOL, I think it was because I couldn't take my eyes from the rear view mirror! I wasn't watching where I was driving.
It was a pleasure to meet you as well, your car was looking almost done when I was there. What a beauty! You should post some pic's!
I'll check on your plate next week.

Its Home
Jdog,
Picked up CSX 4794 this A.M. and drove it home. Now in my garage with 150 miles on it.
Wow!
That's all I'm gonna say - But you should be pretty motivated to get yours on the road.
Mark
P.S.: Pretty Please - I need my plates - Is it you or the DMV that is sitting on this?

3 days, Mark!
Our (PIA, Prison Industry Authority) agreement with DMV, requires that we make & ship all personalized plates in 3 days. We always hold to this. Trust me on this one, I've made many-a-license-plate during lockdowns. The staff will make them if necessary.
Personalized plates never sit at Folsom more than 3 days!
jdog
P.S. I could ask "Lefty & Deadeye" to sign them for you!

jdog,
I can tell you that Tom/FE had a really great offer by many of us to come out and play today with all the cars on our big breakfast drive/run. He turned us down claiming he had way too much on his plate right now. Sounds like he sure has his priorities straight. I your car over there yet? I'm guessing we're gonna see a cool black CSX running car around here in our not too distant future.

Congrats on getting your ride!!!
Now the real work begins. Are you doing the install yourself?

New corners!
SF, yes I have the new suspension parts. That's one of the reasons it took so long, but it's all good now!
As for the install, I will have a little help from Tom at FE Specialties. Actually, Tom's doing it and I'm going to help/watch.
Well Tom doesn't actually know about the second part yet!
Maybe I'll be watching thru the window!
