Default SAI Visit?

It appears that I will be in Las Vegas on business in late January 2008.

Thinking about extending my stay for perhaps one-day to visit SAI's facility. Interested in hearing from others who have perhaps visited the facility. Are the various SAI models displayed, i.e., CSX 4000/7000/8000, or is it strictly a production facility?

As always, appreciate the insight.

Thanks,

Bob

Thumbs up First Cobra!

I was there about a year ago. The first ever Cobra, CSX2000, was on display in the showroom/lobby. They have daily tours of the factory. Well worth the time.

There are a couple of pictures in my photo gallery of my car inside the factory.

Here are some more of the photo's from inside the Shelby factory in Las Vegas.

Thumbs up

Hi Bob, I was there about a month ago. I went down to have a look at my car. I have a video and some pics of the various cars. It's a small museum, but worth a look.

All, thanks for your replies. Think I will try and steal some time during the trip to tour their facility.

Default Viva Las Vegas

Late Wednesday morning took some time to visit Shelby's facility at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Sensory overload...

Acres of Ford Mustang GTs waiting to be modified into Shelby GTs, small showroom on some pivotal cars Shelby has built in the past/present, stage right CSX Cobras in-work (15 or so), stage left Shelby GTs in-work. Gift shop on the way out.

Regardless of what you think about the man or his company, it is worth a trip.
