Yanks at LeMans by Tim Considine
I ran into Tim Considine the other day and asked him if his book
Twice Around the Clock (about Yanks racing at LeMans) is available yet. This is the one that producer Wolfgang Petersen ("Das Boot") is interested in for a 10-part (or more) miniseries. Considine said he is still writing it and he has so much info that it could run into two volumes. Though he isn't finished yet, he is also meeting regularly with Ron Shelton, a producer, and working on what would be in the series. I see this as a long way off but sometimes features and/or miniseries have been done before the source work is done so I could be wrong. Considine goes way back in show biz, was a child start at Disney and as an auto historian has written at least two books.
