Default Carroll Shelby Memorial Bench

Just wanted to let folks know that Carroll Shelby meets qualifications for a memorial granite bench placement at the track where his Cobra and King Cobra won events in Augusta, Georgia. The former 3 mile circuit is being developed into Diamond Lakes Regional Park. The necessary funds would need to be raised for his inclusion into the Rex White Motorsports Memorial Plaza. Two benches are currently placed. Two more will be added over the next 90 days. A total of only 10 benches will be placed.

Details can be found in the first "pinned post": https://www.facebook.com/Rex-White-M...80208362394664

Thanks to all.

Thanks, the Carroll Shelby Memorial Bench would sit in the Rex White Motorsports Memorial Plaza which is currently be developed just about where this photograph was taken of the Dave MacDonald and Ken Miles Cobra's sitting on pit lane at the former Augusta International Raceway. Plans are to have a Cobra cruise in during dedication ceremonies. Thanks. https://www.facebook.com/RexWhiteMot...type=3&theater
