Re: Best Drive
My best drive was two months ago coming back from Sears Point on a curvey wine country "back road" sandwiched between two RT/10 Vipers and a group of other Cobras trailing. Most of us being ex-kart racers who drove karts or ran motorcycles together as well...
It was a lesson in new vs. old technology on the curvey roads, but at the same time it was a lesson of the Ford FE in a light car vs. the Viper V10 in a heavier car; depending where we were...
Without power steering, power brakes, and a lazy boy recliner in my car, the Cobra held its own in the curves, but on the more open straights it was game over. On the pure fun factor side, it was much more raw and exciting to be driving the Cobra.
