CSX3159 was not an original Dragonsnake... I was sold as a plain ol' street car.
According to the registry, the owner (in '67) took the car to Baldwin-Motion Performance to make it a drag-car. They were a big speed shop here on Long Island, that specialized in Chevy's.
They added the funky pipes, etc.
3159 is significant as the first "return-to-the-wide-hip" cars, so says the registry. |
