1964 Sebring Decals????
Hi. Does anybody know what the yellow decal is on some of the 289's and Coupe's?? (near the Autolite and Castrol) Thanks Eric (it seems there is a red triagle on it)

Yep.
It's Micro Lube. There are two different versions of it that I have seen; one used primarily in '64 and the other primarily in '65. Unfortunately, I have never seen a good clear photo of either, and I have been looking for about 4 years. I have artwork for both versions, but I know that neither is correct, though it is as as close as I have been able to get. I've been searching for these ones for a couple of restoration shops, as well as myself. The good news is that so far I have been able to find every bit of art that I have ever wanted. The problem is that one of them took 9 years! Eventually somebody will figure it out. If you see somebody at a car show with a magnifiying lense digging through old magazines and photos in the vendor section stop by and say 'Hi'. It's probably me.;) What do you need it for? Steve |
