New video
I just got my long awated copy of the just released "CAN-AM The Speed Odyssey" DVD. If you liked the series from 1966-1973, and spent time watching these Monsters as I did, then this is a "Must Have". It has a glimpse of Carroll Shelby at the opening race at Riverside and fantastic footage of all the cars, engines, Drivers and history that made the series what it was. I found it ironic that the DVD opens for a minute or two with the an in car shot of a driver carving his way through the mountains to Riverside (suposidly) while driving a Blue 289 Cobra. Also watch the opening race as among all the CAN AM cars is the lone White 427, near the back of the pack on the opening lap, looke like the Essex car (#99??). Well done, 95 minutes.
