I just received mine on the 4th of March 2005. Riches Classic transport delivered it.( I would not use anyone else, he is very professional and keeps a heads up pn everything) I am disappointed in the manual and parts discription. Not much is like the manual. So far many calls to Shall Valley, the staff there, especially Dana is very helpful. I am enjoying the build.

I have a 1990,bought it complete 2 years ago with a 427 high rise and toploader then took it apart to freshen it up and detail .I sort of got side tracked by a family crisis and a CSX4000,I hope to eventually get it back together.I still really like the car, guess your first is always special ;} Tim K

Default Shell Valley Owner

I received my kit on Nov 14 2003 and licensed it on April 28 2004.
I spent 580 hours on the build and did everything myself except for the paint and the engine build. (418W Speedomotive) I drove it 3100 miles last summer and it is a BLAST!!! Great kit!

Got mine in 2000, took 3 yrs to build, so I could pay-as-I-went. Got a 69 428CJ in it. Go Fast....Scare self.
Great Kit; considering a coupe next.

Purchased mine in 2004. Wife didn't want another project but would allow a complete vehicle. It currently has a 393W but I have a 428CJ on the engine stand. A driveable vehicle is not a project.

My kit was delivered April 30, 2004. I'm about two weeks from first ignition on the self-assembled Shelby 427 (452) engine.

I hope to have it on the road in a month or two, unpainted. Work out the bugs, then take the body off for paint.

Tim

I am currently having mine completed by Shell Valley.I have a 289 in it with Edelbrock Performer Rpm items less the Performer RPM aluminum heads and it may be just a 289 but its a little more then what i expected.Edelbrock makes some excellent items for high performance. Radical

I'm hoping to get a Coupe shipped over "the pond" in the next month or so. Still need to sell the Porsche first

Mine was purchased in a previous liftime. I hope to have it completed next spring. I can't say enough GREAT things about Dana and everyone at Shell Valley.

Recently purchased a Shell Valley that was completed back in 1993. So far it seems to be a great vehicle. Has a 429 with plenty of power and lots of torque. Have put over 1,000 miles on it since picking it up.

Default Welcome to the FUN!!

Rodney, welcome to the Shell Valley club!! They are a blast to drive and as someone said "it is the most fun you can have with your clothes on"!!
Do you know if your Cobra was at the WSCB last year in Sparks, Nevada?
It looks familiar!!
I think the owner of that Cobra had a last name that started with the letter "G"!! (Trying to be politically correct here)

I have a 1998 Shell Valley myself with a crate Ford 302 and T-5 in it. It is very fun car. Most important thing to do is to upgrade the brakes and master cylinders though.

I agree with Killerbox , up grade the brakes, I was at London this year and spoke with Dana and looked at there new offering, and they have improved the car a great deal. I wished they hard more foot room than my 2003 ; the new one has dropped foot wells , I wish I didn"t have the balance bar brake system : the new one has a Corvette master cyl. : I didn"t think much of the steering column it won't cancel : they have a new Ididit unit . In short they have up graded the car a great deal .
