I myself took delivery of mine back in Feb. I plan on droping in a Blown Chevy LS1 with a T56 6 Speed manual tranny. I should have it running by the end of summer and I'll get it painted this fall/winter. So far I'm pretty happy with the kit.

I am a hopeful SVM owner, if the thing will ship across the border, but that is another story. Car is to ship later this week. How much time do you have invested in yours??? And why a Chevy motor??

All in all I have about 50-60, maybe even 70 hours in mine, I like to work slow too. I picked the LS1 because I'm very familiar with the engine, I own a 99 Camaro(LS1) and I'm impressed with it. I don't care about all this Ford-Chevy stuff, whats the difference? The car is not built by ford, its built by ME. I have pictures in my gallary if your interested in where I am in the process.

Got mine in '98 finished in 2000. Contemplating a complete drag car tube chassis& cage. I miss racing single digit et's. It's what I originally intended for the car but decided to street drive it for a while. RACING!

I boght a SV in October of 2003. Looks like the previous owner built it over the course of many years. I am just about finished with replacing the C-4 with a 5spd, new tubular fornt suspension components, rollbar and some other odds and ends. So far it has been fun to work on, looking forward to a nice spring/summer. The body of the car seems like it is built of nice thick fiberglass. Might need to narrow the rear a bit more since I have the Knock-offs with adapters installed.

Got mine in 1993... did about all of it myself (stayed pretty low-tech and pretty low-budget)...learned a lot while building it...have had an unreasonably good time driving it...money well-spent

My kit was delivered at the end of October, 2002. My first drive was Jan 11, 2004. All the paperwork is done and I have an appt with the DMV this Friday. If all goes well, I'll have my registration and plates. I'll be at the kit car show at Knott's April 24-25.
