Check with Romanbuilt on this forum. I think he went through the import thing last summer/fall.
I assume youre talking about the Shell Valley importer in Stratford. What happened?

Unhappy

Hi,
You can not legally import a rolling chassis into Canada. You must bring it in as seperate parts, bare frame,no suspension, bare body, etc. Factory five has paperwork to get through the red tape, don't know how they do it, but an individual has no chance since they changed the law.
Good Luck,
Perry.

Thanks for the info guys. In answer to your question BMERSER, due to recent changes in the import laws, they were targeted by Transport Canada as a Kit Car importer, and put out of business. End of story. How sad... you'd think that they'd have bigger fish to fry.
Bob, thanks for the reply. I'll send you a email.
