Question Rear Wheel backspacing

I have a Shell Valley Cobra with a 9" rear. I also have the pin drive adapters and the Halibrand style wheels (15x9.5). My tires stick out beyond the wheel wells and the tires rub. I am considering selling my pin drive set up and buying the 5 lug trigo III wheels. What would the correct backspacing be for the rear wheels? and what would the correct wheel width be, 15 x 9 or 10??

We normally use the team III wheels. On the front we use a 15x7 with a 3 1/2" backspace and on the rear we use a 15x10 with a 4 1/2" backspace.

Gman,,
I have the same situation,it isnt a big deal to narrow your rear end to about 53.5,that should give u an inch each side,,Tim

Thank you Dana and tim. I looked into having the rear narrowed and it seems hard to find too many places that will do that kind of work. The only price I got so far is between $1500 and $1800 to have the rear narrowed. I figured I could sell my current knock off wheels and buy the 5 lug Trigo III's for just about the same price.
