Default Will I Fit?

I'm somewhere in between 6'1" and 6'2" and getting ready to buy a cobra kit. My question for all of you shell valley owners is will I fit into this kit. It worries me to be spending all of my lunch money on a car that I won't fit in. If you guys have any info or advice please let me know. Thanks!

Welcome! This comes up so often it should be a FAQ! Being an average size guy I am in no position to give you advice. What I can tell you is that we have a number of guys in both the big and tall club that will soon be with you! Heck Bob Evans is 7' tall and has a standard wheel base car!

One thing I can do is recommend you find the folks in your area and go and sit in them. What is comfortable for one person is often not for another.

Orinda CA? There are a number of folks in your area.

I am 5'11" and have high back thick electronically controlled seats and it is a bit tight. Not uncomforatable, snug. I have a friend an even 6' and drives it fine. I would imagine a set of regular seats would give me a couple more inches. I have only driven the car twice with the top on and I have to hunch over for that.

I would certainly suggest sitting in one. I have another friend 6'6" who tried on a new vette. The steering wheel wedges between his knees and he looks over the sun visors in the targa style top. He can't close the door in a Cobra.

I am 6'2 and no I do not fit. The car is so much fun to drive I can put up with it. No good for long trips but works for short trips. Find someones car you can sit in and give it a try. After a half hour test ride you will find a way to fit and enjoy.

I am 5'11 and fit fine and have a seat track on mine with out it would drop a couple " " the only thing I had trouble with is the foot box thought it is a little narrow made for a big or small block but after about 300-400 miles now don't know it.
