Cobra Make, Engine: Shell Valley Cobra. Engine is a Ford Racing 302 Crate motor, with Tremec 3550 5 speed trans.

Default Shell Valley front surround
Attn: Shell Valley and Shell Valley customers

Just got the oval surround chrome piece that goes
between the two front bumper overriders. I have the two bumper overriders in place and in just trial fitting the oval, come up with approximately 2 inches from the body to the oval. I can easily just shorten the stancions that connect the overriders to the frame, but am I missing something here. I hate to cut the stancions, then to find out I missed something. Help!!!!!

I can't help you with the problem, but I can say the a phone call to S.V. should do so. They may not be one of the "big names" but their customer service is phenominal. I've had a few silly issues with mine and they have always jumped higher than I ever expected when I have called for help.
