Spherical bearings?

Just wondering if anyone opted for the Spherical bearings on the coilovers- or beter yet, if anyone added them later, having driven it both ways. Would it be a worthy item on a car that will only be driven on the street?

Thanks,
Greg

I have spherical bearings on each end of all 4 Aldan shocks and 5/8" rod ends at every pivot point on the entire suspension system front and back. I like the fact that it makes it very adjustable without the risk of losing the settings. I can't say that it makes it noticeably rougher (??) but the bias ply Goodyear tires provide an emense amout of feedback both good & bad especially on irregular roads.

Thanks for the response, Rick. I am not sure I am understanding you though, as far as making it adjustable without losing the settings. I thought they basically just let the suspension travel with more ease.

Thanks,
Greg

What I was trying to convey is with the rod ends, once they are set, the settings do not change such as with rubber bushings over time, or under braking that compress and allow dimensions to change and then create changes in camber, and castor and toe.

Alright, i'm with ya. Hard to visualize some things without the car in front of you. I was thinking more of ease of movement, but I never thought of them replacing the bushings. Thanks again, and apologies for the brain fart.

Greg
